Watching the videos of The epic battles of The Civil War were gory. The country was split up to the North and South. The Union and The Confederacy. The war started on April 12, 1846. Though the Union won this battle it was a long and bloody war. George McClellan Was the first commander of the Union, Abreham Lincoln was the president at the time.
